Project Engineer (Electrical)

Job Description

The Project Engineer (Electrical) is responsible for the successful execution of the company’s electrical projects. This includes managing all technical and commercial aspects of the project, liaising with customers, vendors, and field staff to ensure project requirements are met, and overseeing the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems. The role ensures that all electrical work is completed according to project specifications, within budget, and on schedule, while upholding high standards of quality and safety.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets
  • Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses to determine the viability of proposed projects
  • Design electrical systems and components
  • Prepare technical specifications and drawings
  • Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
  • Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards
  • Manage project budgets and resources
  • Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and project teams
  • Provide technical support and guidance to other team members
  • Perform any other tasks or duties as assigned by management

Job Requirements

  • 3 years of experience in Electrical works
  • Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems and components
  • Experience with AutoCAD or other design software with strong understanding of Drawings
  • Excellent project management skills, including the ability to develop and manage project schedules and budgets
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, stakeholders, and project teams
  • Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
