Job Description
The Project Manager overseeing the planning, design, and implementation of HVAC systems and is responsible for the successful initiation of the project.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist the Senior Project Manager in developing plans and design for HVAC systems that meet the needs of the building or structure
- Developing and managing budgets for HVAC projects which includes estimating costs, tracking expenses, and ensuring that projects are completed within budget
- Overseeing all aspects of HVAC projects, including scheduling, resource allocation, and quality control
- Managing the work activities and performance of the subcontractors, supervisors and workers and liaise with clients, relevant authorities and consultants to resolve bottlenecks
- Maintain quality standards, carry out site inspections and resolve technical issues on time
- Evaluate and propose alternative solution & system integration for the overall project plan
- Ensure work is carried out according to approved plans, quality standard procedure, safety requirements & in a timely manner
- Carry out troubleshooting, test, repair & installation works as & when required
- Planning, cost control, work measurement & collection of performance data
- Ensure project technical issues are monitored, resolved & escalated where appropriate
Job Requirements
- Min. 10 years of experience in ACMV works
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- Proficient in Software with strong understanding of Drawings
- Fluent in ACMV knowledge and installation – CHWP, VRV, VRF systems
- Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems, including design, installation, and maintenance
- Familiarity with ACMV engineering principles, industry standards and regulations
- Knowledge of project management methodologies, tools and techniques
- Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues
